If you want to play follow-the-leader and communicate the same bland message as all your competitors...then I'm not your guy.

In order to do that you need copy that...

Grabs their attention.

The first sentence of your marketing letter, the opening statement on your brochure, the headline of your ad ...needs to draw the reader in. Make them WANT to read on.

Communicates a problem that they really care about.

Not some generic problem that's been told time and time again till it's become little more than background noise. You need to communicate that you understand the issues that cause your prospects to stay awake at night. But...you need to do this is a way that doesn't make you appear like Chicken Little. That's what excellent copy can do for you.

Makes a great offer that stimulates the reader to take the next step.

"Call Us To Discuss Your Needs" is NOT a compelling offer. Sure, you'll hear from the 1% who desperately need your services...BUT you're leaving behind the 99% who might be interested in doing business with you if only you had a more intriguing, compelling and interesting offer. That's what great copy does for you.

So just who am I and why should you be discussing your copywriting needs with me?

I know what to write to get senior level executives at major corporations to pay attention and take action. (Not to mention writing letters that get through 1,2 and sometimes 3 different "administrative screenings".)
At the risk of sounding egotistical let me say this to you with all sincerity...If you publish a newsletter or market some sort of other information product, you need me to write your copy. I know how to communicate why your prospects must have what you offer. Now in all candor, I'm not the guy to call if you're marketing $12.95 subscriptions or $49.95 info-products. I'm the guy the 4th largest consulting firm in the world called when their multi-million dollar advertising campaign tanked (produced by one of the largest Madison Avenue advertising agencies) and chewed up their budget without yielding a single new piece of business. The direct marketing campaign I created generated over $2 million in new business inside of 45 days, which at least paid off part of what they owed for the failed Madison Avenue campaign.
